President Quezon FDCs (First Day Covers)

Pres. Manuel Luis Quezon was the First President of the Philippines (after Emilio Aguinaldo whose administration was not recognized internationally).

Pres Quezon is honored as the "Ama ng Wikang Pilipino" - Father of the Filipino Language. His birthday is on August 19, 1878.

President Quezon suffered from tuberculosis and died in Saranac Lake, New York on August 1,1944
